CGE Movie Night is a PTA event bringing together our families for a fun night at the school. At Movie Night, we will set-up a large projection onto the white walls next to our basketball court.   This year, the kids voted on Minions: The Rise of Gru for their movie selection! We also offer pizza, popcorn, candy and drinks for purchase.  Come and enjoy an evening under the stars with our awesome CGE community! 

Doors open at 5:30 PM and the movie starts at 6 PM.

1)               How do I purchase Tickets?

Click the button above to purchase tickets during our pre-sale. Only $5 during pre-sale and limited tickets available. Purchase now and you'll have one less thing to worry about on movie night! Each ticket is the same price for kids and adults.

2)               Can we purchase tickets at the door?

We have a limited number of tickets available. If they do not sell out during our pre-sale, tickets will be available at the door for $10 each.

3)               Food & Drink Policy

We are selling whole pizza pies for $15 each during our pre-sale. Click the link above to purchase your pizza in advance for movie night.  No whole pies will be available for sale at the event. Limited number of slices available for purchase.

In addition, our 5th graders are selling popcorn, candy and beverages to raise funds for their graduation. Please support our school and purchase your food and drinks at the event!

Please be aware that OUTSIDE FOOD, COOLERS AND ALCOHOL ARE NOT ALLOWED.

4)               Should I bring my own blanket and chair?

Yes, you should bring your own blankets and chair. Viewing will be on the blacktop/basketball courts, so make sure you have enough cushion so you’re comfortable!

5)               Can I drop my kids off?

No babysitting services are provided! All children must be accompanied by an adult. No exceptions

6)               How do I pick-up pre-sale tickets and pizza?

After ordering online, you can pick up your tickets & pizza vouchers on February 1 and 2 during our pre-sale pick up event. We will have tables set up to distribute your pre-sale purchases during pickup and drop off in front of the school.  More details will be provided as those dates get closer.

If you are unable to make it to the pre-sale pick up event, you will collect the items at Gate 4 when the doors open at 5:30pm on Feb 3rd for CGE’s Movie Night. Please have patience as we have a small group of volunteers working.   **We are NOT able to send home pre-sale items with your children. Please pick them up at the presale events or the night of the movie.**

7)               Are siblings or friends that do not attend Coconut Grove Elementary able to attend?

Siblings do not need to attend the school in order to come to Movie Night. Friends that are not Coconut Grove Elementary School students are unable to attend, due to limited ticket availability.

8)               Where do we enter on the night of the event?

All attendees will enter and exit through Gate 4 (on Matilda Street, closest to Oak Ave)

9)             What if the kids get bored? Can we bring soccer balls and toys to play with?

For safety reasons and so attendees can enjoy the movie, we do not allow balls or other equipment to be brought in or used during the event. Thanks for understanding.

10)             Are refunds available?

We know plans sometimes change, but unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for this event.
